The Society of American Florists (SAF) is a national trade association representing 12,000 growers, importers, wholesalers and retailers of flowers and plants. SAF continues to be a leader in consumer research, bringing new insights to the floral industry and the public on Americans' attitudes and desires toward flowers and plants.

Through its Flower Fundamentals public relations program, SAF is publicizing the positive results from this study to educate consumers about the benefits of floral gifts and the expertise of professional florists.
