MEET OUR NEW MEMBERS

Bruce Easley TMFA
Capt'n B' Florist - Gun Barrel City TX

Bruce Easley's first job in the floral industry, when he was 15 years old, was Head Floor Sweeper.
What's amazing is that 33 years later he is still Head Floor Sweeper.
He owned his first shop at 21 years of age.
After moving to Dallas in 1986, he worked for the wholesale floral industry for six years.
Bruce bought Capt'n B Florist in 1998 and moved to Gun Barrel City on Cedar Creek Lake.

Bruce attended Tyler Jr. College and The University Of Texas at Tyler.

Bruce has been a TSFA member for 7 years.
He has served on the Membership Committee and now serves on the Education Committee.
Bruce has been nominated to run for Retail Director at this year's convention.
He serves on the Boards of the Chamber Of Commerce, Library, Rotary Club, American Cancer Society,
Pacesetters Club, and United Way - at one time serving as President on three of those boards.
Bruce has served as Chairman Of Cattle Barons Ball, Celebrity Waiter (2 times), and Chamber Of Commerce Banquet (5 times).
He was voted Citizen Of The Year in 1993 by the Cedar Creek Lake Area Chamber Of Commerce.

Bruce's Quote: "People always tell me: You need to learn to say "No"!
I have increased my business by 300 % in the 8 years I've been here so I will probably keep saying YES !"
