IN THE SPOTLIGHT ....

CARRIE BEAMER AAF AIFD TMFA
Always & Forever Florist
Austin Texas

Carrie Beamer

After high school graduation Carrie started working with Angelo Floral in a part time sales position. After a month of employment, the manager handed the keys to her and stated, “ It is all yours!”  and left her in charge of the store. As she was about to turn 19 this seemed like a very big challenge - one she obviously successfully conquered.  This was Carrie's introduction into the floral industry and twenty years later she is still going strong. Due to her early start in the industry, Carrie is very excited about Texas State becoming involved with our high school teachers and encouraging students to join the floral industry.

In 1996 Carrie married husband, Russ, and moved to Austin. Always & Forever Florist began as a home based studio, was later relocated to a storefront on Burnet Road .  Carrie feels the key and challenge of operating a business is loyal designers, sales staff, and drivers. Each staff member plays a key role by becoming your backbone and supporting “your” company.

Carrie earned her TMF in 2000 and TMFA in 2002.  She was inducted in New York as an AIFD designer in 2004. Carrie  was also accepted into American Academy of Florist this year. She is very active with TSFA and the Education Committee, including being a featured designer in Ag Conference Programs, Trade Shows, and other local programs.   In the future she hopes to continue to grow as a speaker and become more involved in travel and design programs.

Maybe the reason Carrie is such a successful florist is her positive outlook.  In her own words she states... "The floral memories and excitement a florist's career brings is never ending. We are called to make 'always and forever' memories and the rewards are in abundance each day. What other career can give you this fulfilling experience? As each day passes, we continue to make a day bright and create beautiful experiences. The praise letters received after a wedding or event is rewarding and rekindles your passion."
