An Allied is an organization composed of all facets of the floral industry - retailers, wholesalers, growers, owners, managers and employees. An allied is a forum where educational programs on a local level offer information necessary for professional growth and development. An allied is a foundation where florists cooperatively working together share common goals and through concerted actions achieve results. An Allied is an organization of individuals striving to build an industry looking to tomorrow rather than simply settling for what is good enough today.

Allied provides ways to advertise to other allied members, thus strengthening our relationships with each other. “Sent with confidence to an Allied Florists of Houston Member” will be your moto once you meet and learn about your fellow AFH members.

AFH partners with the local wholesale community of companies to provide programs with national floral designers using current trends in floral design.
~ Strenthen Your Floral Design Knowledge
AFH partners with the local wholesale community of companies and Texas State Florists Association to provide hands on design classes. Multiply opportunities are available to help featured floral designers with their programs by helping to prepare the floral pieces prior to an event. Be an AFH volunteer to learn firsthand from some of our industry’s finest.

A comprehensive list of area hospitals and funeral homes are available on an easy to use wall board. An area zip code map showing a list of current members and the zip code in which the store is located is a handy tool to locate and use a local AFH member.
